Successful Young Graduate Charters New Frontiers

At 21st Century

Johannesburg, South Africa—At 21st Century, the focus on empowering young professionals and driving industry innovation continues to thrive, with Keke Lephole being introduced as their new Reward Analyst.

In her role, Keke leverages advanced statistical tools to analyse payroll data, providing crucial remuneration benchmarks that help shape client pay structures in line with market trends. "My job entails delivering detailed reports and insights that assist our clients in designing competitive pay scales and incentives," says Keke.

Keke's journey at 21st Century is highlighted by a vibrant workplace culture and a commitment to continuous learning, elements she passionately embraces. "The mix of talent here is incredible, and opportunities like the Emerging Stars Bootcamp have greatly broadened my understanding of our service offerings," she shares.

Transitioning from university to a structured corporate environment presented challenges, but Keke's adaptability and eagerness to learn have seen her thrive. "The transition was significant—from the flexibility of student life to the structured demands of the professional world. It was initially daunting, but I've grown to excel in this environment,".

Looking forward, Keke envisions a future where she leads and inspires teams. "In five years, I see myself in a leadership role, possibly after returning to university for my master's degree. I'm excited about the prospect of guiding teams towards achieving our collective goals," she projects.

Keke's motivation stems from a disciplined approach to her work, driven by deadlines and the satisfaction of overcoming challenges. "Staying focused and motivated is all about setting targets and achieving them. There's a unique joy in tackling and completing demanding tasks," she notes.

Keke offers advice for graduates entering the workforce grounded in her own experiences. "Keep an open mind and explore every opportunity. The reality of job hunting can differ from your expectations, so be flexible and ready to discover unexpected paths that may prove rewarding," she advises.

21st Century is proud to support emerging talents like Keke, reinforcing its role as a leader in nurturing and developing future industry leaders within South Africa's evolving corporate landscape.
