Siyavela Impact Program to Launch at Undisclosed “Values-Driven” Venue

Siyavela Impact Program to Launch at Undisclosed “Values-Driven” Venue

Johannesburg – 19 July 2024 – The Siyavela Partnership, an initiative enabling success for corporate social investment, nonprofit and development projects, is pleased to announce the launch of the Siyavela Impact Program.

The program launch will take place on Monday, 22 July with sundowners at an as yet undisclosed venue described as “values-driven”. Siyavela partners claim they selected the venue for the way it embodies the spirit of Siyavela: sustainability, community and impact with a healthy dose of fun. The guest list includes luminaries from across the corporate, nonprofit and development sectors, as well as selected members of the media.

The Siyavela Impact Program unites leaders across the sectors of Corporate Social Investment (CSI), nonprofits (NPO/NPC) and grassroots development projects around their shared purpose. The program empowers these visionaries with the knowledge, skills, community and resources to succeed. The outcome is increased performance in impact investment that delivers better results in development projects and ultimately a better life for the communities and individuals they serve.

The inaugural Siyavela Impact Program cohort kicks off in September 2024 and comprises a 3-day retreat, 12 monthly online skills development sessions, 3 in-person site visits to sustainable spaces and a sustained, online community of practice. 24 places are available for leaders from the CSI, NPO and development sectors.

Siyavela Impact Program participants will benefit from the expertise and experience of the Siyavela partners, Our Common Future led by award-winning development economist Kalnisha Singh, The Barefoot Facilitator headed by renowned community activist Rehana Moosajee and YaziMedia Virtual Media House, the brainchild of media strategist Marie Le Roux. In addition, participants will gain expert insights from urban researcher and environmentalist Siwe Ntombela and award-winning international keynote speaker and author Ian Hatton.
