Bright Beginnings Preschool Celebrates Linden Campus
Bright Beginnings Preschool’s Linden campus opened this year and has quickly settled into a happy rhythm that defines a nurturing early childhood development environment, with teachers, helpers and children now firmly finding their feet. The opening of the Linden branch has been welcomed by numerous parents with small children and toddlers who were looking for a well-respected and trusted preschool.
Founder Danielle Tannous is well-known as an educator and principal and her years of experience ensure that the new preschool offers everything that a child needs in the ECD phase. “Our first Bright Beginnings opened in Olivedale, and I am so pleased that our second campus has found its stride. We have amazing teachers, helpers and assistants and the children are settled and happy. Our approach is holistic, play-based and inclusive, with a focus on nurturing emotional, physical and cognitive development. We apply this approach to everything we do,” she says.
Set at 51 13th Street, Victory Park, directly across from De La Salle primary school, the new Bright Beginnings campus offers a practical advantage for families managing the logistics of more than one school run. For parents with older school-going children as well as preschoolers, that convenience is a meaningful part of the appeal, turning the morning drop-off into a far simpler exercise.
Bright Beginnings caters to children from 3 months to 6 years, with a programme designed to support families through those foundational early years. At the heart of the school is Tannous’ philosophy that every child deserves to be seen, known and supported as an individual. Each child is supported across socio-emotional, cognitive, physical, relational and creative dimensions, while diversity and inclusion are encouraged throughout the programme.
That approach is closely tied to Tannous’ own experience. Bright Beginnings positions itself around personalised early childhood development, supported by qualified and caring teachers, and Tannous brings years of education-focused leadership to the model. Their Reggio Emilia and Montessori influence reflects a preschool environment that aims to balance structure, curiosity and child-led development.
The school’s recent open day added some extra sparkle to the occasion, with Lions rugby players on site signing shirts and helped create a memorable, community-minded atmosphere. It was a fitting touch for a preschool that is not only focused on the classroom, but also on creating a warm sense of belonging for families.
What sets Bright Beginnings apart is this combination of thoughtful pedagogy and practical care: a nurturing environment, a child-centred philosophy, experienced leadership, and a location that genuinely works for busy parents. For a school still in its first chapter, Bright Beginnings Linden already feels well on its way.
